Learn About The Community

Our community is friendly and thriving. Take a look at some of the things we have going on in the Tweed Coast area:

The Tweed Coast Tigers: This community-based club was established in 2009 and prides itself on being a family-friendly club that draws players from over the Tweed Heads and the Gold Coast. In 2020, the reserve grade and senior men’s teams will be established in the new 11 teams SEQ Division 2 competition. Both teams are in contention for a successful final series this year.

Tweed is the proud home of The Bilambil Jets RLFC and Ben Mahoney, who won the Australian title for his weight in April 2021.

Here at Thermal Solutions We are proud to sponsor the prestigious Bilambil Jets rugby league football team. Supporting this local football club is our way of giving back to our community and it’s family’s.

Our partnership with the Tweed Coast Tigers has been one that we’ve enjoyed since 2017. Been connected to community and engaging youth in a positive way is important to us.

Benny Mahoney

Gold Coast based Boxing Start Ben Mahoney is the current Australian Super welterweight champion and has been part of the team since 2019. He is an exciting fighter to watch and look forward to supporting him prosper in his future.
